Samantha Sunne is a freelance journalist based in New Orleans, Louisiana.
She is the recipient of three national grants and several awards for investigative reporting, with work published in NPR, the Washington Post, NOLA.com and other outlets.
She speaks at conferences, universities and newsrooms around the world, including Investigative Reporters & Editors (IRE), the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) and the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard.
In January 2023, her book “Data + Journalism: A Story-Driven Approach to Learning Data Reporting” will be published by Routledge.
